What a beautiful morning when I saw the rolled stone
When I looked into darkness and saw nothing there
What a glorious act that I can see
That love is walking toward me alive and free
For me he died and went to the ground
For Him, he rose and shook the world
I want to tell the world about the one who walked out
I want to show the world the love that sent him down
If they knew what they were
If they knew where they’d be
I want to show them where they can go
The horrible morning when the sun went down
When the curtains fell and death broke down
When the man of men climbed upon that tree
That was the day I was set free
It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Phil. 1:20-21 |
